   I JUST got the MG250Dfx this morning. And when I played the 250 at a music store, with the volume turned fairly low, I got a pretty good crunch out of it, but when I got it delivered this morning there wasn’t a good crunch at all/. I kept playing around with the overdrive gain contour bass treble, nothing. Can someone please help me!

   i just bought a MG50DFX and i cant get any of those sounds out of it. my delay sounds NOTHING like this one. that SUCKS.

    This amp is great (for a 30 watt of course… I tried it in a shop and I really enjoyed it), but also the guy is great. Don’t think it’s only a matter of amp or guitar

    @tocslame001 yes it is very good combo with the special 2! I recently got rid of my special model 2 around a year ago and got a shecter c1 gates, but i have this amp and it rocks with any guitar!

    Ah the marshall MG series…. do you want a mediocre solid state amp that’s priced at double the competition just because it has the marshall logo on it? look no further.

    Anyone looking at buying one of these should check out the competition first. Vox and Roland make very good moddeling amplifies, vox even has a preamp valve in it. Similar wattages, better tone, lower price.

    If you want a marshall, get one with valves.

    NB. metalheads can ignore this as they aren’t interested in tone.
